I am excited to be a part the Pierre Rural Family Medicine Residency program to help enrich rural medicine in the area where I was born and raised. The program has the opportunity to enhance rural medicine and provide patient-centered care to central South Dakota and other rural areas of the Midwest. My hope is that the residency can provide mutual benefit of training residents physicians in full spectrum care while simultaneously improving the health of our community.

Dr. Wickersham spends most of her free time with her husband, children and dogs. Together they enjoy having dance parties, exploring the Black Hills, camping and spending time on the Missouri River.
